A roster of “very exciting events” planned for this September have been announced by a Helensburgh theatre group.
The Helensburgh Savoy Musical Theatre Group will be hosting two events next month to help fund future shows.
The first of these events is a quiz night set for Friday, September 1 starting at 7.30pm in the URC Church Hall with tickets costing £3.
A raffle will also be held during the event and the bar will be serving soft and alcoholic drinks.
The group will be hosting its first ceilidh night on Friday, September 15 in the Victoria Halls Pillar Hall between 8pm and 11pm.
Tickets are £10 and local band Crowded Croft will treat partygoers to live music.
Member Roz Philips said: “We have some very exciting events coming up in the next month which we are looking forward to.
“As well as being great fun, these events help us in raising essential funds for the club.
“It is thanks to these events and the support from our local community that we are able to put on our annual musical each year in November and concert in the spring.”
Earlier in the year, the group announced its annual show for 2023 would be 'Sunshine on Leith'.
The production will be performed at the Victoria Halls from November 8 to November 11.
