A Helensburgh volunteer is being remembered for more than 40 years of devoted service to the community.
Pat Robertson passed away at the age of 79 and was a long-time member of the Helensburgh Save the Children charity committee.
Born in Sheffield, she was a nanny and working with children from an early age.
She later worked in the civil service and once living in Helensburgh after she married, was Save the Children's young representative for many years and spoke to many school pupils and organised events for young people.
Pat's work with children also included helping those with additional needs at Hermitage Academy.
A spokesperson for Save the Children in Helensburgh told the Advertiser: "Her infectious enthusiasm for the charity was passed on to the children, many of whom were inspired to fundraise themselves.
"She remained involved with the charity until ill health curtailed her ability to be so active but she continued to help wherever she could."
Pat was also remembered for producing the charity's successful cabaret evenings, involving a huge amount of time and effort on her part.
She also produced several Helensburgh Savoy musicals, including the acclaimed performance of Fiddler on the Roof.
Pat died on June 29, and a collection at her funeral raised £263.20 for Save the Children, for which the charity expressed their thanks.
She will be remembered by her husband Ian, sons Fraser and Alistair, and her grandchildren.
