Following on from the success of last year’s Craft Fair, Friends of Geilston are delighted to invite visitors to enjoy a wonderful day out at Geilston Garden in Cardross this weekend.
There will be something for everyone, including retail opportunities with a range of local crafters, a Glorious Gardeners Trail - with knitted gardeners courtesy of the Cardross Knitters - taking visitors round many of the interesting features of the garden, garden games galore, and an intriguing ‘Find the Fiddler’ Wandering Minstrel.
Tea and homemade cake will keep everyone fuelled up, courtesy of the Friends’ fantastic volunteer bakers. Thanks to all the hard work of the gardening team, the garden is looking fabulous, the kitchen garden is a joy to behold and the herbaceous border in the walled garden is just alive with bees and butterflies - come along and see it all for yourself.
The craft fair takes place this Sunday, August 6, from 11am until 4pm. Normal admission charges to Geilston apply, which means entry is free to NTS members - though there’s no charge for entry to the craft fair or for the activities.
