THERE’S now less than a month to go until a special gala day and dog show in Helensburgh to raise funds for the town’s Christmas lights display.
The ‘pawsome’ event takes place in Colquhoun Square on Saturday, August 12 from 10am, alongside the regular food and craft market from Scottish Stall Hire.
Put on by the Helensburgh Festive Lighting Charitable Trust, the gala returns for its second year and is working with Scottish Stall Hire to offer a regular market in the bottom half of Colquhoun Square while the dog show is in the top part.

There will be family entertainment including fairground rides, music and a visit from Paw Patrol.
Organisers said: "Keep the date free, more details to come and tell your canine pals to get ready to take to the arena and strut their stuff."
