A housing group with properties in Helensburgh and Lomond has won two prizes at a national award ceremony honouring eco-friendly projects.
The Argyll Community Housing Association (ACHA) won the Regional Large Project of the Year title for its Whole House Retrofit Programme.
It also received a highly commended in the Regional Housing Association or Landlord of the Year category at the Scottish Energy Efficiency Awards.
The ACHA has properties in Helensburgh, Cardross, Rhu, Garelochhead, Rosneath, Kilcreggan and Arrochar.
A company spokesperson said: “Argyll Community Housing Association (ACHA) was nominated for two awards at this year’s Scottish Energy Efficiency Awards and was successful in winning the Regional Large Project of the Year category, along with receiving highly commended in the Regional Landlord/Housing Association of the Year category.
“The latest award follows on from previous success in both the Scottish and national awards and recognises the major investment and improvements the association has made over the last number of years.”
The nominees for the Regional Large Project of the Year were judged on their project’s impact within the local community, the expertise of the project management and delivery team, and feedback from customers and the local community.
For the Regional Housing Association or Landlord of the Year category, nominees were judged on their impact within the local community, the opinions of customers and the community, and their expertise.
The ACHA was nominated for the Large Project Award by contractor Pro-Cast.
The award ceremony took place in Glasgow’s Crowne Plaza Hotel on Friday, June 23.
