Helensburgh and Lomond locals can enjoy a free two-day summer festival on the banks of Loch Lomond this weekend.
Loch Lomond Shores’ free Summerfest festival will return to the Balloch centre for its second year during Saturday, July 1 and Sunday, July 2.
The family friendly – and dog friendly - day will have live music and entertainment, street food, stalls selling artisan gifts and local produce, children’s characters, rides and more.
Loch Lomond Shores’ marketing and events manager, Audrey Calder, said: “We’re hoping this amazing weather holds up for our 2nd Summerfest so that festival goers can have the best time and take advantage of all the great things going on.
“We’re all about families here at Loch Lomond Shores and what better way to show that than by hosting a free summer festival that everyone can come and enjoy – even four-legged family members.”
Musicians from near and far will entertain guests from 10am to 5pm and visitors can also watch the bubble artists and stilt walkers who will be showing their skills throughout the grounds.
Nearly 14,000 people attended the first Summerfest last year with its popularity inspiring Loch Lomond Shores to bring the festival back.
Festival goers can also take part in activities throughout the centre such as Treezone, The Loch Lomond Bird of Prey Centre, adventure golf, and the play park with SEA LIFE also on site.
The public can also explore the Loch Lomond as Sweeney’s Cruises and Loch Lomond Leisure will be operating regular cruises from the centre or with pedal boats, canoes, kayaks and stand up paddle boards also available for hire.
