Primary school kids can enjoy “a week of action-packed fun” learning all about the great outdoors during a Helensburgh summer group.

The Seaside Special Summer Holiday Club will run from Monday, July 3 to Friday, July 7 from 10 am to noon at the Bethesda Christian Fellowship located on 28 Colquhoun Street.

Children can take part in activities such as crafts like making bird feeders and mini gardens, playing games, singing songs and hearing bible stories completely free of charge.

A club representative said: “This year’s club will be a week of action-packed fun in our indoor garden.

“They will be making bird feeders and mini gardens, as well as upcycling and talking about how to look after God's Beautiful creation.

“The week will be full of creative teaching, crafts, games, songs, and bible stories led by Contraflow, with Emily and Cameron Swinton heading the team.

“Children are welcome to attend individual sessions, the club is funded by the churches and there is no charge to attend.”

All group leaders hold PVG qualifications and have experience working with young people.
