Glorious sunshine brought out plenty of sunglasses while watching all the action of the Helensburgh and Lomond Highland Games at the weekend.
From the opening ceremony on Saturday to the Highland dancing, the athletic races and the many tests of lifting and throwing weights, there was plenty to see and do.
Organisers said: "What a fabulous day we had at the Helensburgh and Lomond Highland Games."
Other groups attending included the Rock Choir, the Police Scotland Youth Volunteers and HMS Oardacious.
Our photographer Christine Docherty captured a selection of the many sights at the weekend.
You can see full coverage of the Games, with more of Christine's photos, in this week's Advertiser, out June 8.
