ALL roads lead to Helensburgh Rugby Club this Saturday for the annual Helensburgh and Lomond Highland Games.
Featuring Highland dancing, track and field athletics, a variety of traditional Highland games competitions like the sheaf toss, hammer throw and the world-famous caber toss, and much more, the eagerly-awaited event takes place at the rugby club’s grounds at Ardencaple this Saturday, June 3.
The action starts with the first of the day’s Highland dancing competitions at 10am and will be officially opened between 11.30am and noon, with events continuing throughout the day and the presentation of prizes to the winners from 5pm onwards.
