Theatre lovers can enjoy award winning and star-studded shows on a big screen in Helensburgh after two hit National Theatre shows were added to the line-up at the town's independent cinema.
Fleabag, starring Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and Good, starring David Tennant, will be live streamed to the Tower Cinema next month.
Waller-Bridge’s one-woman comedy-drama will be shown on Thursday, June 15 at 7pm and Sunday, June 18 at 2.30pm, while political play ‘Good’ is streaming on Thursday, June 8 at 7pm.
Donna Hicks from the Tower team said: “If you’ve ever fancied dipping your toe into some culture, but find yourself put off by the high costs, the Tower Digital Arts Centre has the answer!
"National Theatre productions are often streamed to the cinema, and ticket prices are set at an affordable level.
"There’s also no travel and accommodation costs, so there’s every reason to give things a try.
“Good is a blistering re-imagining of one of Britain’s most powerful political plays.
“As the world faces its Second World War, John Halder, a good, intelligent German professor, finds himself pulled into a movement with unthinkable consequences.
“Fleabag is a rip-roaring look at some sort of woman living her sort of life.
“Following a box-office record-breaking run in cinemas in 2019, the one-woman show returns to cinemas to the big screen this summer.”
Tickets can be bought in advance at the box office in the cinema and at the adjoining Scottish Submarine Centre.
They can also be purchased over the phone by calling 01436 679052 or online at www.helensburghboxoffice.com.
