ROAD restrictions have been imposed ahead of the Helensburgh and Lomond Highland Games next month.
Argyll and Bute Council applied for the temporary order to facilitate the gaames, banning traffic on Rhu Road Higher.
This applies from the junction with Woodend Street to the junction with the access road to Kathleen Park, about 420 metres away.
Local access for residents will be maintained and alternative routes will be identified.
No waiting is allowed on both sides of the road from the junction with the access road to Kathleen Park, to the junction with the A814 Gareloch Road, a distance of about 490 metres.
There is also no waiting on Cumberland Avenue from the junction with Rhu Road Higher to 190 metres further to the junction with Ardencaple Drive.

And Woodend Street on both sides from the junction with Rhu Road Higher to West King Street is also affected.
All restrictions are in place from 8am until 6pm on Saturday, June 3 for the purpose of public safety and convenience during the event.
The games returned last year after a two-year absence.
This year's 14th annual games take place at the fields of Duchess Wood off Rhu Road Higher, starting from 10am on June 3.
The public are asked to travel by public transport where possible as there is no public parking available. A free event shuttle will be operating through the day from the car park at Helensburgh Leisure Centre.
Visit the Highland Games website for more event details.
