Dog owners can visit Loch Lomond Shores for their pup-themed event as they welcome everyone’s furry friends to the centre.
The ‘Top Dog’ festival will return to the shopping centre on Saturday, May 20 from 10am to 5pm.
Owners can browse the stalls on offer selling a variety of goods from doggy fashion to ‘pupcakes’, receive puppy training advice, take their dog to a groomer or specialised masseuse and make memories thanks to the event’s pet photographer.
The dog competition will be open to entrants in one of 11 categories including puppy, veteran, best rescue, best crossbreed, and an open section.
Marketing and events manger, Audrey Calder, said: “This event is great fun and it’s a real treat to welcome such a range of gorgeous dogs to Loch Lomond Shores.
“Many of our stores including Sports Direct, Frasers, Catherine Kinloch and Hawkshead welcome well-behaved dogs in-store and Café Zest even has a dedicated dog-friendly area within their café so visitors can enjoy time indoors as well as outdoors with their pets.
“Jurassic Ice, on our first floor, also allows well-behaved dogs on to their balcony so you can enjoy a sweet treat, snack or drink while enjoying the views and taking a breather from the fun.”
Crufts judge Deborah Flemming, of Townhead Farm, will assess the contest and each winning pup will be awarded a rosette and a prize.
Competition entry into one category costs £3 with extra categories costing £1.50 each and dogs can be entered on the day.
Owners can also treat themselves to street food from the stalls at the event.
