The next Helensburgh Beer and Gin Festival hits the town this weekend, with attendees set to raise their glasses.

Starting from 6pm on Friday, May 19 and then Saturday, May 20 until 11pm, the Helensburgh and Lomond Civic Centre, in East Clyde Street, will host oportunities to try the best drink producers have to offer.

There are still tickets available for Friday or Saturday entry to the comumity festival.

Last year welcomed more than 2,500 guests trying craft drinks, delicious food and great bands. All proceeds go to local causes.

Further information and tickets are available from the organisers, Helensburgh and District Round Table, at www.helensburghroundtable.org.

Organisers said: "This year's Beer and Gin Festival is brewing up to be the best one yet. We can't wait to raise our glasses together and toast to good times. Let's make some unforgettable memories."

This year’s event will feature a ‘Beer Battle of Scotland’ with 48 Scottish beers from 13 leading Scottish breweries across all six regions of the country – and a chance for festival-goers to vote for the best brewery and best beer of the festival.

Helensburgh and Cardross producers No Limits Brewing are amongst those taking part as well as co-sponsoring this year's festival.

The festival runs from 6-11pm on May 19 and from 1pm to 11pm – or whenever the beer runs out – on May 20.
