Lomond School students wowed audiences in their “lively and high energy” take on Peter Pan earlier this month.
Primary 6 and 7 students took to the stage to perform an original musical version of Peter Pan with Charlotte Ridland, Savannah Rusk, and Ellis Fleming giving impressive performances in their leading roles.
Directed by Kandy Muggoch and Rachel Balance, the show featured songs from the school’s head of music, Doug Fleming.
A representative from the school said: “A dazzling array of pirates, mermaids and lost boys descended upon Lomond School for the Transitus production of ‘Peter Pan, The Musical’.
“A lively and high energy take on this traditional tale, directed by Kandy Muggoch and Rachel Ballance, left audiences laughing and crying in equal measures.
“Big musical numbers led by head of music, Doug Fleming, added to the professionalism of this show, and confident solo performances by Charlotte Ridland and Savannah Rusk transported the audience into their magical world.”
