THE weather may have been less than ideal but it didn’t dampen the spirits of dedicated volunteers, who took to the streets of Luss for a clean-up recently.
Organised by Luss and Arden Community Development Trust, the event took place on Saturday, March 18 and saw participants picking up litter in the village, as well as Glen Luss and Glen Douglas.
Teas, coffee and bacon butties were supplied prior to the clean-up by the Village Rest and afterwards The Loch Lomond Arms Hotel helped warm everyone with soup and sandwiches.
