TICKETS are on sale now for a ceilidh in Helensburgh next month to welcome a delegation who will be visiting the town from Bordeaux.
As reported recently in the Advertiser, the group from Le Taillan-Médoc will be spending six days in the town as they examine the potential to set up a twinning link with Helensburgh.
To welcome the group to the town, a ceilidh will be held at the Helensburgh and Lomond Civic Centre on Saturday, April 15 – the first night of the delegation’s visit.
With music from Crowded Croft, the ceilidh lasts from 7pm until midnight.
The visit comes more than three years after Helensburgh Community Council first began looking at the possibility of a twinning agreement – only for the pandemic to interrupt the work on both sides.
Tickets (£12.50) can be ordered online from Eventbrite.
