No trains are running to or from Helensburgh Central this morning (Tuesday) due to a signalling failure between Cardross and Dalreoch.
ScotRail says the Helensburgh-Edinburgh services are currently running from Dumbarton Central, with the Balloch line remaining unaffected.
Replacement buses are also running between Helensburgh and Dumbarton Central, calling at all stations.
National Rail initially expected the disruption to last until around 1pm today, but this has now been pushed back to 3pm.
In a social media post, Network Rail Scotland said: “At Dalreoch, the Balloch line is open and West Highland services are able to pass through the affected area using special arrangements.
“No other services are running to/from Helensburgh so that our team can prioritise the repairs. Apologies again for the disruption today.”
