MORE details have been revealed of plans for a new wellbeing-themed book festival in Helensburgh.
Reading Minds, organised by the Helensburgh Community Hub, Helensburgh and Lomond Carers and the Jean’s Bothy mental health hub, will take place from March 17-19.
In addition to nature writer Jim Crumley, the programme for the weekend will include events with Helensburgh-based teacher and debut author Cailean Steed, award-winning novelist Cynthia Robertson, and Cardross resident Graham Morgan, whose 40 years of experience with schizophrenia inspired him to write a two-volume memoir and who was made an MBE for his services to mental health.
For more details on the festival, see this week’s issue of the Advertiser or see the ‘Helensburgh Community Hub’ page on Facebook.
