THE sound of laughter filled the air at Bethesda Christian Fellowship at the weekend, as children descended on the Colquhoun Street building for a morning full of fun.
Kiddiwinks Family Fun Time welcomed youngsters and their families into the church on Saturday, February 11, for a morning of activities suitable for all ages.
People travelled from around the coast, including Rhu, to take part in the session, which included toys and crafts, as well as music and stories.
There were snacks and bacon rolls to keep the parents happy too at the event, which was aimed at youngsters from babies up to those aged around six-years-old.
Reflecting on the event, Christine Reid, pastoral care and community engagement worker, told the Advertiser: “We’re delighted with how the Kiddiwinks session went on Saturday - it was a very well attended event.
“The sessions had started pre-Covid and were a bit slow to start but it’s great to see young people and their families getting involved now.
“There’s a real variety on offer for anyone coming along and it offers a great opportunity to welcome people from across the community into the church. Thanks to everyone who came along and we look forward to welcoming more families to upcoming sessions in the next few months.”
Kiddiwinks runs from 9.30-11am. Further sessions are scheduled for Saturday mornings: March 11, May 13 and June 10.
