THE new year is an ideal time to get fit - and people across Helensburgh and Lomond are being invited to put their best foot forward by supporting a local run.
Entries are now open for the 2022 Cove and Kilcreggan 10k, which is due to take place on Sunday, June 4.
Open to 200 runners and 50 walkers, the route goes through Kilcreggan and up on to the forestry track before returning down the hill and towards Cove Burgh Hall.
The entry fee is £20 for runners and £15 for walkers, and runners need to be at least 17-years-old.
All participants will receive a medal and cake.
Walkers begin at 1pm and runners get underway an hour later.
Those looking to take part can enter online here.
A fitness plan, courtesy of Caroline Drew, of Wild Horizon Running, is due to follow.
