Services to and from Helensburgh are subject to delays and cancellation today (Wednesday) due to a fault on a train between the town and Dumbarton.
There has been disruption on the line between Helensburgh Central and Edinburgh Waverley since 8am this morning.
Services on the route are being started and terminated at Dumbarton Central until the affected train can be moved.
Phil Campbell, head of customer operations at ScotRail, said: "We’re sorry to customers who have experience disruption to their journey this morning.
“Our teams are working as quickly as possible to fix the fault and get services back up and running again.
“Anyone who’s been delayed by 30 minutes or more as a result of this incident is entitled to claim compensation through our Delay Repay Guarantee.
"Just keep a hold of your ticket and claim on the ScotRail website or mobile app.”
A skeleton service is running on this route until Saturday, December 17 due to strike action by RMT members.
Two trains per hour will run between 7:30am and 6:30pm.
