THREE Helensburgh and Lomond businesses have been named as finalists in the 2023 Scottish Confetti Wedding Awards - and they need your votes to have a chance of winning.
The Wedding Planner, Lodge on Loch Lomond, and Pippa Reid-Foster will be in the running for top prizes at this year’s awards ceremony, in January 2023.
In April, the Advertiser told how The Wedding Planner on West Clyde Street won Best Bridal Retailer at the prestigious awards.
Despite being nominated regularly during its 21-year history, this was the first time the business had won such an award.
They dedicated the award to Helensburgh and Lomond’s wedding professionals after a “cataclysmic” couple of years for the industry.
Now they are hoping to win the same category this year as they would "love to make it two in a row".
Meanwhile Lodge on Loch Lomond have been nominated in the Best Unique Wedding Venue this year.
They're hoping to emulate the success of another Luss venue, the Loch Lomond Arms Hotel, which won the prize for the best wedding venue (over £6,000) for the whole of Scotland at the 2022 awards.
And finally, Pippa Reid-Foster has been selected in the 'best ceremony entertainer' category for her incredible contemporary talent on the harp.
A Royal Conservatoire of Scotland graduate, Pippa, a well-known performer in and around Helensburgh, combines a minimal compositional style with strong references to her Scottish roots.
Residents in Helensburgh and Lomond are invited to make their choice now as the voting closes this Friday, November 11.
