HANNAH RANKIN has vowed to bounce back after losing her WBA and IBO world titles to England's Terri Harper.
The Luss boxer was on the wrong end of a unanimous points decision in the defence of her two super-welterweight belts in Nottingham on Saturday night.
Harper, 25, who moved up three weight classes for the fight, opened up Rankin's left eyebrow in the second round of the contest at the city's Motorpoint Arena.
The former Hermitage Academy pupil, who was taken to hospital as a precaution after the fight, took to social media on Sunday morning to update her fans and congratulate her opponent.
The 32-year-old said: "For all those asking, my CT scans clear and my eyes stitched up.
"Congratulations to @terri_harper96 on becoming a two weight world champion.
"I’ll heal up and I’ll be back. Thank you to everyone for the support."

The three judges all scored the fight convincingly in Harper's favour, with Terry O'Connor and Lei Tavita both giving Harper a 98-92 margin of victory, while Giluio Piras scored it 97-93 for the Yorkshire fighter.
The contest was the 32-year-old's second defence of the world titles she won against Maria Lindberg in London last November.
