Cyclists in Helensburgh and Lomond are being encouraged to hop into the saddle and get on their bike this month as part of annual challenge, Cycle September.
The national initiative is part of the Love To Ride UK campaign, aimed at getting more people in the town and beyond riding bikes than ever before.
It is a global competition where people can win prizes for every mile cycled and even more for encouraging family, friends and colleagues to start cycling too.
So far, more than 21,500 people and 1,000 organisations have signed up to the challenge. One participant stated: “I ride because it keeps me fit and clears my mind, making me feel better about myself.”
