Entries are still open for keen athletes in Helensburgh and Lomond to enter the Arrochar 10K race next month.
The event, which regularly attracts runners from all over Scotland and beyond, takes place this year on Saturday, September 17 over a combination of forestry roads and paths and roadside pavements.
The race is open to all runners aged 16 or over and costs £15 for Scottish Athletics members and £17 for unlicensed competitors, and there are prizes for the winners and runners-up.
As well as prizes for the winners and runners-up there’s also the prospect of delicious home baking at the prize-giving ceremony in the Three Villages Hall afterwards.
For more detail on the race, and to enter, see here.
