THE Friends of Geilston are holding a craft fair at Geilston Garden on Saturday, August 6.
It will be a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a good day out in the garden as the school summer holidays come to and end and parents run out of ideas for things to do.
There will be plenty of activities for children, but also for visitors of all ages.
The event will include a trail through the kitchen garden searching for the knitted Glorious Gardeners, mini archery in Robin Hood Wood, fun with Samba drums, and lots of garden games scattered around the site.
Some retail therapy will be available too, with a variety of local craft produce on offer, including sewn, felted, crochet, and knitted goods, as well as ceramics, glassware, cards, jewellery, and some good food.
No Geilston Garden event is complete without the cake stall, which will be stocking a range of homemade treats, and hot and cold drinks.
The star of the day, however, is always the garden itself which is looking great thanks to the hard work of the gardeners and volunteers.
The event runs from 11am-4pm and entry is free for NTS members. See NTS website for entry charges.
