THE organisers of the Go Swim Loch Lomond event have announced that the open water swimming experience will return to the bonnie banks in September.

Swimmers from all over Scotland flocked to Drumkinnon Bay for the 2021 event and are now being invited to return for this year’s challenge, taking place on Saturday, September 3.

Distances from 250 metres to 10,000 metres are available for swimmers aged from eight and above, with start times between 8am and 1pm.

Chip timing, a swim cap, a medal and T-shirt for each finisher and full first aid and safety cover are provided for all competitors along with car parking facilities.
