Model boat enthusiasts will be joining the team at the Maid of the Loch paddle steamer this weekend to sail replica ships of all types, scales, and speeds.
Members of the Knightswood Model Boat Club will be at the site in Balloch from 11am on Sunday, July 31.
The group regularly meets to build, sail, and share their model boat experiences. They will be sailing their radio-controlled models on Loch Lomond alongside the famous paddle steamer.
Those with a similar interest are welcome to join in at the event which is free to attend.
Visitors will also be able to take advantage of the in-steam winch house and the Maid’s exhibition displays, with refreshments on offer at the pier café.
Hard hat tours of the ship can also be booked at bit.ly/maidhardhattour, or by contacting the Loch Lomond Steamship company on 01389 711865.
The Maid is open to the public every weekend until the end of October.
