CLASSIC car enthusiasts are being encouraged along to Loch Lomond this weekend to feast their eyes on a fine display of vintage vehicles.
Around 20 cars belonging to members of the Western Thoroughbred and Ayrshire Classic Car clubs, ranging from pre-war vehicles to more contemporary classics, will be on show at the Maid of the Loch on Saturday, June 18 from 12 noon to 3pm.
Visitors will catch a unique glimpse of the cars alongside the famous paddle steamer, which is currently out of the water as she undergoes restoration on the slipway.
Among the work being carried out on the Maid of the Loch by a crew of volunteers is repairing the hull plating, refurbishing the paddlewheels and recoating the hull and funnel in the original white, green and buff colours.
The event is free to attend and all are welcome.
Visitors will also be able to step on board the Maid to enjoy the display of stunning model boats created by local resident Lachie Stewart which is on show throughout the summer - click here to find out more.
