A HALF marathon which was due to be held on the banks of Loch Lomond has been cancelled.
The Luss Half Marathon, which was to have taken place on Saturday, May 28, was to have started and finished at Rossdhu House, taking runners on a hilly, multi-terrain route on Beinn Dubh, Doune Hill and Beinn Eich into Glen Luss.
The organisers, Let’s Do This, confirmed the event’s cancellation but have not given a reason for the decision.
Runners in Helensburgh and Lomond can still enter the Run Loch Lomond event, with 10K and 5K versions as well as a fun run for young people.
That event starts and finishes in Balloch Castle Country Park on Saturday, June 18.
