A HELENSBURGH hotel is seeking the go-ahead to make changes to its outdoor seating area – with new furniture, raised decking and decorative lighting among the plans.
The owners of the Ardencaple Hotel have applied to Argyll and Bute Council for planning permission and listed building consent to make the changes at the Gareloch Road premises.
Festoon lighting and free-standing wind screens also form part of the plans, as are large ‘jumbrellas’ to provide shelter.
Details of booth seating are provided among the plans, which the council is expected to make a decision on by late May.
The plans can be viewed, and comments submitted, by visiting the council’s online planning portal at argyll-bute.gov.uk and using the reference number 21/02264/LIB and 22/00341/PP.
