The restaurant in Colquhoun Square will match the sales contribution
A Helensburgh restaurant is running a charitable donation day on Thursday, March 10 to help people fleeing the war in Ukraine.
At Sugar Boat in Colquhoun Square, for every cup of coffee or tea purchased throughout the day, the restaurant will donate £1 to the Disaster and Emergency Committee’s Ukraine humanitarian appeal to help provide food, water, healthcare and protection for the families fleeing the conflict.
Sugar Boat will then match that £1 contribution with a £1 donation of its own.
The restaurant is open from 9am.
