The race is part of the Babcock 10k Series
Athletes in Helensburgh are being urged to sign up to a new Loch Lomond 5K road race to be run for the first time this summer.
The event, to be run in and around Balloch on June 18, is in addition to the existing Loch Lomond 10K taking place on the same day.
A fun run for children of primary school age is also being organised by the West Dunbartonshire Leisure Trust, which is behind all three events.
Runners across Helensburgh and Lomond are already in training for this year’s Babcock 10K Series, which begins in Helensburgh on Thursday, May 5 and continues in Dumbarton on May 12 and Glasgow Green on May 29.
