A GROUP of budding young artists gathered in Rhu last month to showcase their creative talents.
The Mini Makers session, hosted by Join the Dots Community Arts at Rhu and Shandon Community Centre, is a creative art gathering for kids aged 18 months to five-years-old.
Each themed session - including the seasonal special pictured on this page - begins with storytelling before attendees paint, stick, splat, squish, roll, glue, snip, select, print and imagine whilst having lots of creative arty fun.
And participants get the chance to make some wonderful masterpieces (inspired by the story at the start of the session) to take home.
The little people attending the recent festive-themed event explored paint and printing, practised their scissor and mark making skills, turned the outlines of their hands into reindeer antlers, created keepsake tree decorations and much more.
As well as running special one-off sessions, Mini Makers also runs as a weekly class in Helensburgh on Tuesday mornings.
Join the Dots also runs after school sessions for primary school aged children, as well as events, parties and in-school sessions.
