A VERY special guest greeted visitors to Helensburgh’s Hill House earlier this month.
Father Christmas popped in to the historic venue on Sunday, December 12 and December 19 furnished with gifts and winter cheer for visitors of all ages.
As part of the event, organised by the property’s owners, the National Trust for Scotland, the Charles Rennie Mackintosh-designed building’s interior was decked out in all its Christmas glory while guests also came dressed in their best festive attire and were encouraged to enjoy Yuletide drinks and titbits in the café.
Father Christmas at The Hill House ran over two weekends and concluded on Sunday, and the attraction is now shut to visitors for the year.
The Hill House is scheduled reopen on January 3 - Covid rules permitting - with up-to-date information on visitor opening arrangements, and other essential details, available can be found at nts.org.uk/visit/places/the-hill-house.
