AN AWARD-WINNING Helensburgh and Lomond hair stylist has been nominated for yet another prestigious industry prize.
Jennifer Thomson Hair is a finalist in both the freelance hair specialist and hair and makeup specialist categories at the 2021 Scottish Hair and Beauty Awards.
Jennifer Mckenzie, who runs the business, will find out if she will be crowned the winner at a glamorous ceremony taking place on December 19 at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Glasgow.
Jennifer previously won the freelance hair specialist title at the same awards in both 2017 and 2018.
The hair stylist said: “I am overwhelmed to be nominated for the awards and truly grateful to my clients for their loyalty and support. It means so much to me.
“It was like a dream to win the awards in the past and again it is very exciting to be in the finals.

“I am currently enjoying maternity leave after the birth of our gorgeous daughter Sienna and look forward to easing back into work again in the new year.”
A spokesperson for the awards said: “The competition is really tough, but the hard work and talent will be rewarded.
“We would like to congratulate all the finalists and we can’t wait to welcome all our guests in what will undoubtedly be, an enjoyable event.”
As reported in the Advertiser last week, Jennifer has also been nominated in the freelance wedding hair and make-up specialist category at the 2022 Scottish Wedding Awards, to be presented in February.
She won the same category for both the south-west of Scotland and nationally at the Scottish Wedding Awards in 2017.
