A HELENSBURGH woman has praised a kind member of the public for re-uniting her with her lost purse.
Catriona Malan contacted the Advertiser this week to express her gratitude to the good Samaritan after she left the Tesco supermarket in the town centre without her purse.
Catriona said: “While trying to pack two heavy bags of shopping, and talking to a friend, I walked out of Tesco without my bulging purse, and only noticed when I tried to pay in the next shop I visited.
“I would like to publicly pass on my grateful thanks to the wonderful “young man in the high-vis jacket” (as the staff described him) for handing it in at the counter and saving me from a total panic attack.
“It is so reassuring to know that there are such conscientious and honest folk about these days. Thank you.”
