POLICE have charged a man with road traffic and drug offences after they were called out to a car park in Luss.
Officers received a report of an altercation involving a male and a female within a vehicle in the village at around 1am on Sunday, October 10.
The man, a 32-year-old from Alexandria, was reportedly seen to be driving the vehicle and after it was stopped he allegedly became abusive to officers.
He is said to have refused to provide a specimen of breath and was clearly under the influence of alcohol, according to police.
He was arrested and again refused to provide a breath sample at Clydebank police office, where he was allegedly found to be in possession of a quantity of cannabis.
The man was released to attend at court on a later date.
