A 26-YEAR-OLD woman was arrested in Helensburgh on suspicion of breaching live bail conditions.
Police say the woman was arrested at a property in Lomond Street at 1.55am on Monday, September 27.
She was taken to Clydebank police office for interview, but on arrival she reportedly began to behave aggressively, and had to be restrained by police for her own protection.
The woman reportedly bit a female officer on the arm before spitting in her face as the officers were trying to stop the woman hurting herself.
She was charged with police assault and breaching bail conditions, and was held in custody to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court.
