NO trains will run to or from Helensburgh this weekend due to engineering work – and because of ongoing industrial action there will be no replacement buses on Sunday.
ScotRail says that buses will replace trains between Helensburgh and either Dalmuir or Partick all day on Saturday, October 2.
But on Sunday, because of the long-running dispute between ScotRail and the RMT union, no replacement bus service will be provided to any station west of Dalmuir – including both the Helensburgh and Balloch lines.
Trains will run hourly between Dalmuir and Airdrie and between Milngavie and Edinburgh only.
The RMT dispute has led to most of ScotRail’s Sunday services being cancelled since March.
