HELENSBURGH'S Lawrence Chaney sparkled on the red carpet at the National Television Awards last night - but there was to be no prize joy for the hit show where the former Hermitage Academy pupil found fame.
The 24-year-old hit the headlines earlier this year by appearing on, and going on to win, the second series of RuPaul's Drag Race UK.
The programme was nominated in the 'best talent show' category alongside Britain's Got Talent, Strictly Come Dancing and The Masked Singer, but lost out to the BBC's long-running celebrity ballroom dancing series when the winner was announced.
Several viewers at home, though, spotted Lawrence in the background as awards MC Joel Dommett delivered one of his pieces to camera - and as the picture above shows, Lawrence (centre) and co-stars Bimini Bon-Boulash and Tayce were out to catch the eye on the red carpet before the ceremony began too.
