POLICE have confirmed the death of a teenager in Cove over the weekend.
Officers were called to Craigrownie Park, on the peninsula's Church Road, at around 9am on Sunday, August 15 following the sudden death of a 16-year-old girl.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “The death is currently being treated as unexplained and our enquiries are continuing.
“Anyone with information that may assist our ongoing enquiries should contact 101 quoting reference 1254 of August 15.”
