THE monthly beach cleans organised by Helensburgh Community Council resume this weekend.
After a break at the end of June – largely because so much marine litter was removed from the shoreline in the clean-up at the end of May – community councillors and members of the public will be rolling up their sleeves this Saturday, July 31 between 10am and 12 noon.
Members of the public are welcome to join in – just bring your own gloves and meet at the pier at 10am.
