PLANS have been revealed to convert a former office supplies store in Helensburgh into a dance studio.
An application has been submitted to Argyll and Bute Council for a change of use of the building at 41 West King Street, formerly used by Admin Systems.
The business is listed online as being "permanently closed", having served the area for more than 40 years.
Charlotte Street firm HMA Architects, acting on behalf of Helensburgh Parish Church, have lodged the proposals for a "change of use from Class 4 [business] to Class 4 and 11 [assembly and leisure - including dance halls]".
Work has not yet started on the refit but some minor alterations are expected to the two-storey building.
A decision on whether the plans will be approved is expected soon. For more information on the plans search the council's planning portal for the reference code 21/01030/PP.
