A HELENSBURGH opticians has announced that it is closing for a week due to a close contact with a Covid-19 case.
Helensburgh Eyecare, on the junction of Sinclair Street and East Princes Street, announced the measure on social media on the morning of Monday, June 28.
The announcement said: “Temporary closure (being enforced) due to a Covid-19 close contact. We are closing the practice as a precaution add hope to be open on Tuesday, July 6.
“Any queries please call us on 01436 674164 and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

NHS Highland has recently asked residents of Argyll and Bute to continue to follow guidance after a recent sharp rise in cases in the area, including in Helensburgh and Garelochhead.
The area had the 10th highest number of cases per 100,000 out of 32 in Scotland as of Thursday, June 24.
