TICKETS have gone on sale for former Hermitage Academy pupil Hannah Rankin's next fight – which will see her go from Luss to London to Lanarkshire.
Scotland’s first ever female world boxing champion was announced this week on the card for the ‘Rise of the Champions’ event, taking place entirely outdoors at New Douglas Park - better known as the home ground of Hamilton Accies FC - with Kynoch Boxing and FightZone TV on Friday, July 16.
The 31-year-old will share the card with undefeated Scottish lightweight champion Calvin McCord, featherweight Nate Collins and super-bantamweight Billy Stuart in what will be Scotland’s first live boxing show since February 2020, featuring five title fights – although the name of Rankin’s opponent has yet to be released – and a busy undercard packed with local talent.
Up to 1,500 spectators will be allowed to attend with all Covid protocols in place.
Tickets for the event start at £50 and are available direct from the Rankin camp – contact @Team_Rankin on Twitter or Instagram for details.
