POLICE have issued an appeal for information from the public following the theft of a boat engine in Garelochhead.
The onboard engine was reportedly stolen from a boat moored in the loch opposite the Garelochhead Coaches bus garage in the village last month.
The engine is described as a Mariner two horsepower, two stroke outboard and it is believed to have been taken between 10.30pm on Monday, April 26 and 8am the following morning.
Anyone with any information relating to the incident is asked to contact Helensburgh police office by calling 101.
