POLICE are looking for a woman who boarded a train to Helensburgh following a sexual assault at a railway station in Dumbarton.
The woman is believed to have spoken to the victim of the attack before getting on a westbound train at Dalreoch station.
The incident is said to have occurred at around 8pm on Saturday, February 20.
According to police, a man followed a woman across the platform before sexually assaulting her as she stoof by a shelter.
The man is described as Asian, around 5'6", between 30 and 35 years old and of average build.
He had a short, dark beard and was wearing a great woolly hat and a cream or beige winter jacket.
He was described as speaking with an Indian accent.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident, in particular a woman who spoke with the alleged victim at the time before then boarding a train to Helensburgh.
