For many, recent tightening of coronavirus restrictions means a return to browsing streaming service catalogues.
Over the years, Helensburgh and the surrounding area has provided the backdrop for various film and TV productions.
Here are some you can enjoy whilst keeping an eye out for familiar spots...
The Spy Who Loved Me (1977)
Sir Roger Moore’s third movie as 007 was shot across Egypt, Italy and the Bahamas. It does, however, also feature scenes filmed at Her Majesty’s Naval Base at Faslane.
The site on the Gare Loch provides the setting for the naval establishment where Bond is briefed about submarines.
The spy teams up with Russian agent Anya Amasova (Barbara Bach) in a bid to take down a shipping magnate who threatens to use nuclear weapons to destroy New York City.

The Nest (2020)
In this surrogacy tale, a financially comfortable couple find out how far they are willing to go to get what they want.
Dan and Emily Docherty, played by Martin Compston and Peaky Blinder’s star Sophie Rundle, become embroiled in turmoil after 18-year-old Kaya from the other side of the tracks offers to carry their baby.
Many outdoor scenes were filmed on the Rosneath peninsula during the late summer of 2019, with the award-winning Cape Cove beach house on the Loch Long shore featuring as Dan and Emily's home.
The show originally aired in March last year, with the season finale attracting 4.7 million viewers.

The Cry (2018)
The village of Arrochar features in this four-part mini-series about a couple who find themselves at the centre of public scrutiny after their baby goes missing during a trip to Australia.
The thriller, based on author Helen FitzGerald's highly-acclaimed 2013 novel, stars Dr Who’s Jenna Coleman as Joanna Lyndsay, a school teacher who travels down-under to help her husband, Alastair, fight for custody of his other daughter.
The events start to take its toll on the couple’s relationship and Joanna’s mind.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018)
Arrochar may not seem like a likely setting for a sci-fi adventure film about dinosaurs, but the Glen Mallan MoD jetty near the village can be spotted in the second instalment of Jurassic World.
The movie stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas-Howard, following their characters’ attempts to rescue the park’s dinosaurs before a volcanic eruption.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is available to buy or rent on Amazon Prime Video - https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/video/detail/amzn1.dv.gti.b2b59700-a7f6-b03e-f518-804939648c99?autoplay=1&ref_=atv_cf_strg_wb
The Loch (2017)
Blairvadach Outdoor Education Centre stars the local school in this six-part series set in the fictional town of Lochnafoy.
The series follows detective Annie Redford in her first murder case as she investigates the death of piano teacher Niall Swift.
The show is available on BritBox - https://watch.britbox.co.uk/
Annika (2021)
We can't publish a list of films and TV shows featuring Helensburgh and the surrounding area without mentioning this forthcoming adaptation of the hit Radio 4 crime drama, which has been filmed around the area over the last few weeks.
The series, co-commissioned by UKTV and US network Masterpiece, is produced by Black Camel Pictures and will be shown on leading crime drama channel, Alibi.
Nicola Walker (Spooks, The Split) will reprise her role from the radio series as DI Annika Strandhed investigating the "unexplained, brutal, and seemingly unfathomable murders that wash up in the waterways of Scotland".
