POLICE charged a Helensburgh man after watching an alleged street drug deal take place in broad daylight.
At around 3pm on Hogmanay officers reportedly observed three males in Old Luss Road who appeared to be involved in a transaction.
Upon approaching them one of the men is said to have run off from police while the other two were detained.

A 25-year-old man was searched and allegedly found to be in possession of a personal quantity of heroin.
The Ben Bouie Drive resident is now the subject of a report to the procurator fiscal.
